East Valley, West Valley, YOUR Valley Realtor

What do you think is the first question people typically ask a Realtor? Regardless of whether they are interested in buying, selling or investing in a real estate, I am often asked, “what part of the valley do you specialize in?”. It makes sense. Often we are told that in order to be good at something and to be successful, we must find a niche. However, working primarily by referral, I find myself traveling throughout the valley: East Valley, West Valley, Glendale, Sun City, Scottsdale, Maricopa and everywhere in between.  And that’s the way I like it. I have chosen be a student of the valley, to broaden and deepen my knowledge of the communities in which my clients live, or want to be.  This allows me to help the friends, family and colleagues of people I know, like, and have done business with in the past, rather than spending my time prospecting in a narrow area that primarily serves my needs. The ability to work by referral leaves me more time to attend to the needs of my clients. It allows me to help grown kids in Ahwatukee move closer to their parents in Sun City; or the friends of my son in Chandler, who are moving to Goodyear to work at Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station; or the parents of my Phoenix clients who are selling their Scottsdale home in order to be closer to the grand-babies. It allows me to assist investors in locating areas of the valley in which they are most likely to get the return on their investment dollars that they are looking for. Being a Phoenix metro area Realtor requires a good deal of research to maintain current knowledge of ever-changing variables such as special community assessments, specific geographical disclosure requirements, and local market forces. It also helps that I really enjoy the beauty of our valley and witnessing it’s evolution. One of the great things about the Phoenix metro area, is how easy it is to get from one place to another. And for that I am very grateful as it facilitates my ability to serve my clients based on their needs, and not necessarily their location.
